Bio

Jack Hostrawser was born in Brampton, Ontario in 1989, although he’ll more likely tell you about his formative years on a small dairy farm in the township of Caledon. The rural environment and its myriad wonders, and dangers, shaped his eclectic imagination and inspired a love of nature that is a recurrant theme in his writing. He writes largely on impulse, turning out a collection of primarily contemporary short fiction which is spiced with a streak of dry wit and the black humour that pervades all of his work. He is currently an English major at York University in Toronto, Ontario.
