Without eyes, you look

what red means
or anything,
that's you,
painted here without eyes, mouth, hair, no matter--
just the lines I see around and in you
which draw you from everything
else and fill you red,
it's you!
for ever and ever.
And there's you, too,
like Dad you're just the lines around and in you I think
you are circles and lines
which draw and fill you
green,
and there you are you two
somebodies to say "I love you" to,
and to say "I love you, too, you,
who is yellow like the sun
in the middle."
But I don't look much in the middle,
because people together are circles and lines
without eyes, they look
most like who they are I think
they are just colours at heart no matter
what anything means
or anything;
people together are circles and lines
for ever and ever
family.
